There is no such place as easy street, but having the right lawyer can make your life easier

The attorneys at Schaffner, Rabinowitz & Feinartz are dedicated to fighting for injured people, providing aggressive representation to victims of automobile accidents, medical malpractice, truck accidents, construction accidents, railroad accidents, dangerous products, injuries on-the-job and wrongful death.

Clients choose Schaffner, Rabinowitz & Feinartz because the firm provides close, personal service, communicating regularly with clients to make sure you fully understand you options and are informed about the status of your case. Excellent negotiating skills are the product of proper preparation and the power of persuasion. We pride ourselves on our preparation. We will use these skills to help you.

The firm traces its roots in Chicago to the founding in 1948 of the law firm of Reese & Schaffner, a partnership of two friends who laid the groundwork for the firm’s advocacy on behalf of injured people. Fred Rabinowitz and David Feinartz joined the firm in 1980, and since Mr. Schaffner’s retirement in 1993, the two have carried on the firm’s longstanding tradition of providing the highest level of service with compassion and professionalism.

In addition to our two attorneys who personally handle each case, our multilingual staff has the ability to speak with clients in English, Spanish, Russian, Polish and Ukrainian.

Conveniently located in a historical building in Chicago’s West Loop, we can also meet with you in our suburban offices at your convenience.
